| 2: He liked it, but said he'd have to run it by the Money Guy. So I gave him the ol' one-two and sent him color version for good measure. |

| The top banana sent his goons over with a message: more "noir." Something “dark” and “edgy” with “odd angles.” |
| 3: I sent them dark and edgy. I was starting to fall for the dame myself. |

| The banana liked her, but the big phone was a problem. He told me to deal with it. |
4. I dealt with it. New phone, new lamp. Everyone’s happy. |

| Except me. She's gone to Hollywood now, without a glance backwards at me and my lousy studio. |
